I must admit that Anime Overload Festival was the best cosplay con I've been to this year. The convention was amazing. I was dressed as Larsa, for the fifth time. During the past four cons, barely anyone knew who I was. This time...OWNAGE.

Here are some pros and cons about the event:

GOOD:
> The venue, SMX Center, was very spacious. It looked like an airport and it was really cold. I didn't sweat and that was good.

>eople knew who Larsa was. About 15-20 people took pictures of me. Umm...one guy even took a video. The first comment when I entered was "nice costume"

> I wasn't the only FFXII character. Judge Gabranth was there too! <3 He's Larsa's guardian anyways, and you know Larsa can't just go around loitering by himself. We had a photoshoot!!!

>The convention center was next to a mall. Shopping in a costume is very fun! It turns a lot of heads.

>Michael Jackson was there too ^__^

>I got a lot of good reviews about my cosplay on the web.

>My friends were also there (both ppl in school and deviantart )

BAD:
>The convention room was quite stuffy. That was why most of the people were outside. Most of the cosplayers were outside. I coudn't stay long inside the room, even if I paid P100 for the ticket.

I hope to go to more conventions! Though, I think I;ll just be going as a White Mage or Rukia Kuchiki. Currently, I'll be using my Larsa costume for our upcoming play, Ibong Adarna.
